Play
Getting Started

Your first AI workspace

Your workspace is where everything in Play lives. When you sign up, Play creates one shared space for your team’s apps, AI co-workers, collections, knowledge, chats, tasks, and integrations.

Before you start: Your workspace is created during onboarding. You can rename it later from Settings.

What’s in a workspace

Your workspace contains:

  • Apps — Everything your team builds, such as dashboards, tools, and systems.

  • AI co-workers — Persistent AI teammates with specific roles and connected tools.

  • Collections — Structured tables and records for your team’s data.

  • Knowledge — Shared context, including org docs, team playbooks, and personal notes.

  • Chats — Conversations with Play and your co-workers.

  • Tasks — Scheduled automations that run on a recurring basis.

  • Integrations — Connected tools like Slack, Google Sheets, Stripe, and more.

Workspace creation

Your workspace is created during sign-up and onboarding. You give it a name, and Play sets it up for you. Every team member you invite joins the same workspace.

Renaming your workspace

You can rename your workspace at any time from Settings.

One workspace per organization

Your workspace is your organization’s shared space. Everyone on your team works inside the same workspace, with access controlled by roles and permissions.

Assets

From your Home page, the Assets dropdown gives you quick access to:

  • Integrations — Browse and manage connected tools

  • Collections — View and manage your data

  • Storage — Monitor your storage usage
