Sidebar & navigation
The sidebar is your primary way to move around Play. It stays visible on the left side of the screen, and it gives you quick access to the main areas of the workspace.
Sidebar sections, top to bottom
From top to bottom, the sidebar includes these sections:
Search — Find anything across your workspace. You can also open search with Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows.
Home — Your landing page. It includes the onboarding checklist, pinned apps, recent apps, and the chat input.
Tasks — Your scheduled automations. View all tasks, filter by co-worker, and see active, paused, and completed status along with run history.
Coworkers — An expandable list of your AI co-workers. Click any name to start chatting with them.
Apps — An expandable list of your apps. Click any app to open it.
Knowledge — An expandable section with three sub-items:
Organization — Shared knowledge visible to everyone.
Teams — Team-scoped knowledge.
My Knowledge — Your personal files.
Chats — An expandable list of your recent conversations. Click any chat to resume it.
Top bar
Settings (gear icon) — Workspace and account settings.
Profile — Your avatar and profile menu.
Home page
Your Home page is the starting point every time you open Play:
Getting started checklist — Guided steps to explore Play's features. It tracks your progress.
Pinned apps — Quick access to your most-used apps.
Recent apps — Apps you've opened recently.
Chat input — The input bar at the bottom of the screen. Start any conversation here.
Assets dropdown — Quick access to Integrations, Collections, and Storage.
Apps page
The Apps page shows all apps in your workspace in a gallery view:
Tabs — Filter by All, Pinned, or category tags such as Finance, Design, and Marketing.
Search — Find apps by name.
App cards — Visual thumbnails with category tags and last opened time.
Tasks page
The Tasks page is your automation command center:
Status overview — Counts for Active, Paused, and Completed tasks, plus total runs.
Task cards — Each card shows schedule, next run time, assigned co-worker, connected integrations, and run count.
Create button — Start a new scheduled task.
Knowledge page
Use the Knowledge page to browse and manage your team's shared knowledge:
Folders — Organization, Teams, and My Knowledge.
Documents — Files within each folder, with search.
Create and edit — Add new knowledge files or edit existing ones directly.
Chats page
The Chats page lists all your conversations:
Search — Find chats by name or content.
Chat list — Sorted by most recent message, showing title and timestamp.
Integrations page
Open Integrations from Assets to browse and manage connected tools:
Category tabs — Connected, AI, Marketing, CRM, Finance, Support, Data, and more.
Integration cards — Each card shows the name, category, description, connection status, and a Manage button.
Assets dropdown
The Assets dropdown on Home gives you quick access to workspace resources without using the sidebar:
Integrations — Browse and manage connected tools.
Collections — View and manage your data.
Storage — Monitor file usage.
Chat input bar
The chat input bar appears at the bottom of your screen across all pages. You can start a new conversation from anywhere without navigating away.
