Notifications

Play currently sends notifications via email for key events.

What triggers an email

  • Invitations — When someone invites you to a workspace or app

  • Payment events — Billing confirmations, plan changes, invoice receipts

  • Access requests — When someone requests access to your app

In-app notifications

Play does not currently have an in-app notification system. Updates from your co-workers and tasks are visible when you check the relevant sections (Tasks page for task runs, Chats for co-worker conversations).

Staying on top of things

  • Check the Tasks page regularly to review completed task runs and any failures

  • Pin important apps so they're always visible on your Home page

  • Use scheduled tasks to have co-workers send summaries to Slack or email on a regular cadence
