Getting Started

Platform tour

A quick orientation to Play's interface and where everything lives.

The sidebar is your main navigation. From top to bottom:

  • Search - Find anything in your workspace. Also accessible with Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows).

  • Home - Your landing page with the onboarding checklist, pinned apps, recent apps, and the chat input bar.

  • Tasks - Scheduled automations. View active, paused, and completed tasks with run history.

  • Coworkers - Your AI co-worker roster. Click any co-worker to chat with them directly.

  • Apps - All apps in your workspace. Pinned apps appear first, with category tabs to filter.

  • Knowledge - Your team's shared brain, organized in three folders: Organization, Teams, and My Knowledge.

  • Chats - All your conversations with Play and co-workers, sorted by recency.

Top bar

  • Settings (gear icon) - Workspace and account settings

  • Profile - Your avatar and profile menu

Home page

Your Home page is the starting point every time you open Play:

  • Getting started checklist - Guided steps to explore Play's features. Tracks your progress.

  • Pinned apps - Quick access to your most-used apps.

  • Recent apps - Apps you've opened recently.

  • Chat input - The input bar at the bottom. Start any conversation here.

  • Assets dropdown - Quick access to Integrations, Collections, and Storage.

Apps page

A gallery view of all apps in your workspace:

  • Tabs - Filter by All, Pinned, or category tags (Finance, Design, Marketing, etc.)

  • Search - Find apps by name

  • App cards - Visual thumbnails with category tags and last opened time

Tasks page

Your automation command center:

  • Status overview - Counts for Active, Paused, and Completed tasks plus total runs

  • Task cards - Each shows schedule, next run time, assigned co-worker, connected integrations, and run count

  • Create button - Start a new scheduled task

Knowledge page

Browse and manage your team's shared knowledge:

  • Folders - Organization, Teams, My Knowledge

  • Documents - Files within each folder, with search

  • Create and edit - Add new knowledge files or edit existing ones directly

Chats page

A list of all your conversations:

  • Search - Find chats by name or content

  • Chat list - Sorted by most recent message, showing title and timestamp

Integrations page

Browse and manage connected tools (accessible from Assets):

  • Category tabs - Connected, AI, Marketing, CRM, Finance, Support, Data, and more

  • Integration cards - Each shows name, category, description, connection status, and a Manage button
